The vibrating mesh is the heart of the breathing treatment technology that makes the Microneb Mesh Nebulizer by AbleAsthma perform as well as larger compressor units.  Due to its high-frequency vibration, the mesh suffers wear and tear over time. Regular replacement ensures efficient medication delivery to the lungs. 

The mesh is a small membrane with 1,000 microscopic holes through which the medication is pushed at a speed of 180,000 times per second forming nanodroplets. This vibrating mesh technology allows medication to penetrate quickly into the deepest parts of the lungs.

The mesh should be cleaned after each use with a mild solution of detergent and water. Don't wash it under running water! Rinse with clean water. Shake off excessive water and leave the mesh air-dry on a paper towel. 

As some medications can easily remain on the mesh, clean and disinfect the mesh cap once a week with boiling in distilled water. Leave it to boil for 10 minutes then leave to air dry on a paper towel.
