The ASOAnkle Brace by Push Med works on the principle of functional taping by applying pressure and limiting over and under extension. It replaces sports tape with elastic straps to create the compression and support needed. The benefit of this Ankle support is that the degree of compression is adjustable to be able to regulate the pressure continuously.
The brace consists of a comfortable sleeve made from the breathable material Sympress. It includes 'comfort zones' around vulnerable areas of the ankle such as the Achilles’ tendon. A series of straps enclose the ankle joint with a compression wrap. The Ankle Brace has a wide instep and an integrated heel-lock making it easy to apply and comfortable to wear.
The degree of compression is adjustable while the ankle support stays in place with the help of innovative silicone strips.
