The ankle splint consists of a patented reinforced shell at the inner side of the ankle, a functional non-elastic strap, and a soft instep area.
What is the unique design of this Ankle Brace?
This ankle brace is based on the principle of the functional tape bandage. The shell ensures the brace is retained in good position to limit eversion and inversion.
The integrated shell molds itself to the shape of your foot and has a recess for the malleolus – the bony protuberance on either side of the ankle, giving you optimum comfort.
The straps can be adjusted to treat the level of swelling (oedema or haematomas) in the sub-acute and acute phase of your ankle injury, relieving pain. These adjustable straps ensure that the brace fits securely and offer optimal support without being too tight. The straps also enable you to easily put the ankle brace on and off.
The soft instep provides compression and brings relief in case of acute inflammation of the ligaments.
