Can You Use NDIS Funding for Invizi Incontinence Products?

Can You Use NDIS Funding for Invizi Incontinence Products?

The short answer

For most NDIS participants, yes. NDIS funding for incontinence products commonly covers everyday items from the Invizi range, including pull up pants, adult nappies, pads and guards, washable underwear and kids' products. They're classed as NDIS consumables, so you can buy them with your funding when they relate to your disability and your plan has the budget.

If you're a participant: Look for Consumables within your Core Supports. You can generally choose your own products and supplier.

If you're a carer: You can order on a participant's behalf, and a continence assessment can help you get products and quantities right.

If you're a support coordinator: BetterCareMarket is a registered NDIS provider. We invoice the plan manager automatically or place an agency managed order directly in the NDIA portal.

Every plan is different, so it's always worth confirming with your plan manager, support coordinator or the NDIA.

If you've been paying for continence products out of your own pocket, or you're not sure where they sit in a plan, you're not alone. Continence products get used every day, so the cost adds up quickly, and it isn't always obvious what's covered. Let's walk through it together, in plain English.

What is Invizi?

Invizi is the new name for the range many people know as Confidence Club. If you've searched for Confidence Club before, you're in the right place. You may still see the old name on some packaging or older websites, and you'll also notice brands like Dailee, Essential, Care, iD and Nundies sitting alongside Invizi in the same collection.

The range is built around everyday comfort: soft, breathable, latex-free and dermatologically tested, with fast-dry layers and odour control that give strong absorbency without the bulk. There's something for most situations, from light leaks through to heavy overnight protection, for adults, kids and teens, plus the extras that make a continence routine easier.

How NDIS funding for incontinence products works

The NDIS treats continence products as supports when incontinence is linked to a participant's disability. It has said it would typically fund continence supports for participants aged five or older who regularly experience incontinence, day or night.

In practice, that usually looks like this:

Consumables in Core Supports. Everyday items that get used up and replaced, like pull ups, nappies, pads and wipes, are generally funded from your Consumables budget.

A continence assessment. The NDIS commonly funds an assessment from a continence or clinical nurse, who recommends suitable products and quantities.

A disability-related need. Funding needs to be linked to your disability and be reasonable and necessary. Incontinence caused by a medical condition alone may not qualify.

All Invizi, Nundies and iD incontinence products sold by BetterCareMarket are classed as NDIS consumables. Whether a particular order fits comes down to your plan and your available funding, so check with whoever manages it if you're unsure.

Ordering through BetterCareMarket

We've tried to make this as easy as we can. You can place your order online without paying at checkout. What happens next depends on how your funding is managed:

Plan managed: We automatically send an invoice to your plan manager, who pays from your funding. Nothing for you to chase.

NDIA managed (agency managed): We place an agency managed order directly in the NDIA portal, so you don't need to pay upfront or submit a claim yourself.

Self Managed: If you're a self managed NDIS participant, you can either pay when you place the order on our website or not pay and send the invoice to the NDIA first, wait for payment and then make the payment to us via bank transfer.

  • Prefer a quote or invoice? Just ask. Our team can prepare quotes or invoices manually, which is handy for plan approvals, plan reviews or coordinators who need paperwork before an order goes ahead.
  • Same price for everyone. We charge one price for all our customers, whichever way you're funded.
  • Delivery. Once the funds have been received, we process your order as soon as we can. Most orders arrive within 3 to 8 business days, depending on where we're sending them to.
  • Repeat orders. Continence products are a regular need, so we're happy to set up repeat orders for you, monthly or on whatever timeframe suits. It's one less thing to think about.

How to choose the right incontinence product

Start with the person, not the product. Think about leakage level, mobility, age and changing routine, then use these as a guide:

  • Light leaks and you want to keep wearing regular underwear? Look at pads, guards or washable underwear.
  • Mobile and happy to change independently? Pull up pants feel closest to regular underwear.
  • Heavy leakage, bowel incontinence or carer-assisted changes? Tabbed adult nappies give the most coverage and are easiest to fit lying down.
  • Prefer something reusable? Washable underwear is an option for lighter leakage.
  • Choosing for a child or teen? Go by weight and measurements rather than age alone.
  • Protecting a bed, chair or duvet? Add a waterproof protector as backup.

Our friendly team is always happy to talk through which product would suit best, and you'll find more tips in the Incontinence Care section of our incontinence blogs.

Tips for carers

Get a continence assessment if you can. It takes the guesswork out of sizing and quantities, and it's useful evidence if the plan needs to change.

  • Add backup protection. Mattress and chair protectors make accidents easier to manage.
  • Stock up on the extras. Wipes, gloves and disposal bags keep changes hygienic and organised.
  • Sizing matters. A product that's too big or too small is more likely to leak. Follow the size guide on each product page, measure carefully, and for kids, choose by weight.
  • Don't mix up pads and boosters. A booster pad is designed to go inside a compatible pull up or nappy, while a standard pad with a waterproof backing isn't.

Tips for support coordinators

  • Check the Consumables budget. Make sure there's enough for a realistic monthly or quarterly supply, not just a one-off order.
  • Document the need. A continence assessment or clinical recommendation linking the products to the participant's disability helps at plan reviews.
  • Allow for delivery time. Orders are processed once funds are received, and most arrive in 3 to 8 business days. Repeat orders can help avoid gaps.
  • Need paperwork first? We can prepare quotes or invoices manually on request.

Keep supplier details handy. We're an Australian-owned, registered NDIS provider (provider number 4050069517). Our NDIS Service Providers page has more.

If the funding isn't lining up

You've been paying out of pocket. Lots of families cover continence costs before realising they may be fundable. Raise it with your plan manager or support coordinator, since it can often be considered going forward.

Supplies run out early. If quantities feel tight, speak to whoever manages the plan. A continence nurse's recommendation can support a review.

You're not sure it fits the plan. Funding is tied to assessed need and available budget rather than a single brand. Check with your plan manager or the NDIA that the item suits your plan.

A quick note on CAPS and Support at Home

Two other schemes sometimes come up, so here's how they relate to NDIS funding.

  • CAPS (Continence Aids Payment Scheme). This is a separate annual payment from Services Australia ($739.40 for 2026-27) for people with permanent and severe incontinence. If your NDIS plan already includes continence support, you generally can't also receive CAPS.
  • Support at Home. If you or someone you care for receives aged care through Support at Home rather than the NDIS, continence funding works differently. Disposable products are funded as clinical care consumables once approved in the care plan, and washable products are generally funded through AT-HM. Your provider can confirm the details.

Your questions answered

Is Invizi the same as Confidence Club?

Yes. Invizi is the current brand for the range previously sold as Confidence Club, so you may still see the older name on packaging or in searches.

Can I use NDIS funding for Invizi incontinence products?

Yes, if the products are disability related, meet NDIS criteria and your plan has suitable funding. Invizi, Nundies and iD incontinence products are all classed as NDIS consumables. Approval depends on your individual circumstances.

Which Invizi product is right for me?

It depends on leakage level, mobility, age and how changes are done. Pads, guards and washable underwear suit lighter leakage, pull ups suit mobile people who change independently, and adult nappies suit heavier leakage or carer-assisted changes. Our team is happy to help you choose.

What's the difference between pull ups and adult nappies?

Pull ups are worn like underwear and suit people who can stand, dress and toilet more independently. Adult nappies have adjustable side tabs, so they're easier to fit lying down and suit heavier leakage, reduced mobility or carer-assisted changes.

Do I need to pay when I place my order?

No. You can place your order online without paying at checkout. We then send an automated invoice to your plan manager (or Support at Home provider), or place an agency managed order directly in the NDIA portal.

Can you provide a quote or invoice manually?

Yes. Just ask, and our team will prepare one. It's useful if a plan manager, coordinator or provider needs paperwork before approving an order.

Do you offer repeat orders?

Yes. We're happy to set up repeat orders monthly or on another timeframe that suits you.

Is the price different if I'm using NDIS funding?

No. We have one price for all our customers.

How long does delivery take?

Once the funds have been received, we process your order as soon as possible. Most orders take between 3 and 8 business days to arrive, depending on where we're sending them.

Do I need a continence assessment first?

It depends on your plan and your plan manager. An assessment isn't always required to order consumables, but it helps choose the right products and quantities and supports future plan reviews.

Can I order if I'm plan managed or NDIA managed?

Yes. For plan-managed participants we invoice the plan manager automatically, and for NDIA-managed (agency managed) participants we place the order directly in the NDIA portal.

Are kids' products like Nundies covered by the NDIS?

Often, yes. Nundies and iD kids' products are classed as NDIS consumables, and the NDIS typically funds continence supports for children aged five or older who regularly experience incontinence due to disability-related needs. It depends on your child's plan.

Can I receive CAPS as well as NDIS funding?

Generally no. If your NDIS plan already includes continence support, you can't usually also receive CAPS.

Do mattress protectors replace pull ups or pads?

No. They protect the sleeping surface and work as a backup layer alongside a wearable product.

Who can help me choose the right incontinence product?

Our friendly team is happy to help. Give us a call on 1300 172 151, or browse the Incontinence Care section of our blogs.

Choosing the right continence product is about more than absorbency. A good fit, the right level of protection and a clear plan for funding make daily life easier for participants and everyone supporting them.
