What is the Neurotrac Tehab Tens and NMES?
The NeuroTrac Rehab TENS and NMES is a unique treatment to effectively manage pain, prevent muscle wastage and help with muscle rehabilitation. This dual channel electro-stimulator combines TENS and NMES functions. The portable massager penetrates targeted muscle groups through electrical muscle stimulation to speed up neuro-muscular rehabilitation, providing pain relief and muscle strengthening.
What is TENS and NMES?
TENS stands for Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation and provides a non-invasive, drug-free method to control long-term pain. The mild electrical impulses are transmitted via electrodes through the skin to change the pain perception. TENS does not cure the physiological condition; it only helps to control the pain perception.
Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation (NMES) or STIM has been used for many years to stimulate muscle and nerve fibres to treat muscle or nerve conditions.
How can the NeuroTrac tens help you?
The Neurotrac Rehab TENS is designed to treat muscle and sports related type injuries. This device can support 2 x 4 pads of electrodes to be used at one time, allowing treating a larger/different body area(s) at one time. The remote hand-held control allows the user to manually trigger muscle contraction and rest time when used for rehab applications, such as drop foot.
The NeuroTrac Rehab offers a greater level of stimulation with a much better degree of accuracy, giving full control of: pulse width, pulse rates, ramp up times, ramp down times, work/rest cycles, as well as a synchronous or alternating application when 2 channels are being applied.
