What is the Push Hinged Knee Brace?
The Hinged Knee brace by Push Med is an award-winning knee brace with hinges focused on restoring the mobility of the knee after injuries. This functional brace offers extensive medial-lateral support for the knee joints, also known as the collateral ligaments.
The unique non-axial leaf spring hinges - that act as a spring, rather than a hinge – guide the knee into proper motion. Both lateral hinges also reduce lateral movement.
This brace allows some movement, but is still rigid. The thinner material at the back prevents it from creasing. This knee brace is breathable and skin-friendly and feels comfortable to wear.
How does the Push Hinged Knee Brace work?
Our Hinged Knee Brace is an anatomically contoured knee support that limits medial and lateral movement, helping stability and assist recovery, alleviate pain and improve mobility. Our Hinged Knee Brace is suitable for people with knee arthritis and knee injuries.
The non-axial spring system is comparable with the suspension of a car and creates a flexing and straightening movement. When you bend your knee, the hinges actually spring back.
In addition to the protection of the knee ligaments, the straps secure the spring system to stabilise and compress the injured knee joint. It is the brace of choice for both medical patients and athletes recovering from injuries.
What is the Hinged Knee Brace made of?
The fabric used in this knee brace is called Sympress. It is moisture-wicking material that creates a soft, comfortable feel while keeping the skin dry. The silicone strips hold the knee brace firmly in place while walking or exercising. The round comfort zone of padded material surrounds the kneecap to protect this vulnerable area.
Indications of use
Our Hinged Knee Brace is the perfect choice for those living with arthritis in the knee. As the knee support is designed to compress and stabilise the knee joint, it can provide a faster and more comfortable recovery for:
- Arthrosis with hydrops or fluid in the knee
- Rheumatoid arthritis with synovitis
- Osteoarthritis of the knee (with or without swelling)
- Functional and residual instability after trauma/ligament injury
- Post-operative protection after ligament surgery
- Great knee support brace for skiing or other sports
- Inflammation of the knee joint
- Meniscus damage
Which Hinged Knee Brace is right for you?
Please select your size from the option bar. For the correct size, measure around the lower leg at the point just below the kneecap and above the calf - at the top of the shin.

The Knee Brace is available in five sizes and is designed to feel tight, in order to provide the correct level of compression. If you have correctly followed our sizing guide by the option bar above, your knee brace should feel comfortable and compressive without causing pain or irritation.
