The Mini-Wright Low Range Peak Flow Meter from Able is a mechanical Expiratory Peak Flow Meter, suitable for children and patients with severe flow obstruction. This individually calibrated respiratory device delivers great accurate and consistent results thanks to the aerofoil in the mouthpiece.

 

When is a Peak Flow Meter used?

Peak flow monitoring is a well-known tool in asthma, COPD and pulmonary fibrosis management. Peak flow meters help patients monitor their respiratory disease. Peak Expiratory Flow (PEF) is a measurement of how fast a patient can blow out. When a patient is well, their PEF is higher, when the airways are narrow - for example with asthma-  PEF is lower.
