How does the nebuliser work?

This nebuliser is a small breathing device that produces a stream of air that travels through the tubing to the nebuliser bowl. When the air enters the nebuliser, it converts the liquid medicine into a mist for inhalation, capable of penetrating deep into the lungs.

Place the nebuliser machine on a table and add the prescribed medication solution in the nebuliser bowl. Breathe in through a mouthpiece or face mask that you attach to the device. Take slow, deep breaths for 5-15 minutes to allow the medicine to enter your lungs and provide effective treatment.

How often should you use the nebuliser for treatment?

Make sure to consult your GP, although most treatments are administered when the patient experiences symptoms or at 4-6 hour intervals, depending on the medication.

How long does treatment with this compressor nebuliser take?

The duration of therapy is determined by how long it takes to inhale the prescribed medication. Treatments usually last between 5-15 min on average.
