The posture corrector helps correct slouching and hunching - habits of long periods of time behind the computer - to provide positive muscle memory of a healthy shoulder and spinal position. Providing stabilisation to the clavicle area, the posture corrector is placed around the shoulders and secured with the fasteners at the front for a comfortable, supportive fit.

The back support helps correct alignment of the dorsal spine by encouraging the shoulders to pull back, creating long-lasting positive muscle memory.

How to use the Posture Brace?

1) Place the brace over the shoulders like a back­ pack.

2)  Route the ends of the lower strap to the front and secure the hook-and-loop closure .Feed the ends of the shoulder strap to the front around the chest and secure the hook-and-loop closure below the chest.

3)  The correct fit and proper positioning of the brace must be checked during handover to the patient.

Sizes

The Posture Brace Dorso Carezza by Ottobock comes in sizes XXS to Medium. Measure your waist circumference, approx. 2 cm above the iliac crest. Please consult the table below to see which size is best for you.

Washing instructions

Clean the brace regularly:

1)  Close all hook-and-loop closures.

2)  Use a laundry bag or net.

3)  Wash the brace in warm water at 40 °C with mild detergent. Do not use fabric softener. Rinse well.

4)  Allow to air dry.
