The Glucology Smart Body Scale gives you reliable insights into your body composition. When used with the free Glucology FitGo app, the scale helps you track trends over time of your body health, based on 12 body metrics:

Weight: your overall weight from 5 to 180kg
BMI: Body mass index calculated based on height and weight
Body fat: the % of your body that is made up of fat
BMR: Basal Metabolic Rate
Obesity: a classification based on your BMI
V-Fat: visceral fat, fat around your abdomen
Water: the amount of water in your body

Your smartphone and the body scale communicate via Bluetooth connection. Make sure to turn the Bluetooth button ‘on’ on your mobile device, otherwise the app can’t get the readings from the scale. The Glucology Smart Body Scale can pair with up to 8 mobiles devices in one account. Each ‘family member’ can have individual preferences and settings to customise their experience while keeping individual results private.

Q4. Where can I download the Smart Body Scale app?

You’ll find the ‘FitGo’ from Glucology on the App Store. The app can also be accessed through a QR code in the product manual. Open the app. It automatically connects to the scale so you are able to view all the readings.

Q5. Can I move when stepping on the bathroom scale?

No. We recommend you to stand still while standing on the Smart Body Scale. Slight changes or movement will affect the sensor and resistance value of the scale, which may cause reading errors.

Q6. Do I have to take off my socks before stepping on the body scale?

Yes, your skin must be in direct contact with the platform of the body scale. If you have socks on, the body scale will not be able to get accurate readings.
