How does the Travel-Air nebuliser work?

The Travel-Air Portable Nebuliser is a so-called jet nebuliser, that uses a compressor to push compressed air through the medication bowl. The liquid medication is then converted into a very fine mist which is inhaled into the lungs. 

The battery-operated nebuliser allows for better compliance, while on-the-go, and helps patients to breathe again.

The medical breathing device is easy to use and features a one-touch operating system making it ideal for active adults and children to use when traveling and on-the-go. It allows you to nebulise the most commonly used aerosol medications.

You will find an adult and child mask, a mouthpiece, tubing, a nebuliser bowl, an AC adapter, 5 filters and a travel case in the box.

You can buy the Travel-Air 12v adaptor separately. That will give you the option to charge the nebuliser in the car. It means peace of mind in case of power blackouts or other emergencies.

Maintenance of the Travel-Air portable nebuliser

It is very important to replace the filter of your nebuliser every 3 months as part of the maintenance. Without a good flow of filtered air coming from the compressor, you will not receive an effective breathing therapy.

This also applies to the facemask and the tubes. All other accessories need to be replaced each year to help your nebuliser perform consistently.
