What is the Double Size Wonder Sheet?
Our Double Size Wonder Sheet is the perfect sheet that will help those with mobility issues move and turn in bed. The sheet combines a smooth and low-friction satin section in the centre of the sheet - where your hips rest - with a 50% poly/cotton at each end. This fitted sheet helps the user slide and turn with ease on the smooth satin panel, while the bottom part will help the feet grip. This will help roll over and swing in and out of bed without effort.
This therapeutic sheet will make handling and moving a patient much easier with far less physical strain. As the person in bed can move more readily, it will also improve circulation and reduce bed sores.
Traditional cotton sheets can sometimes pull at your pyjama’s, making it very difficult to change position in bed. This sheet is made in the middle (off centre) from a smooth low-friction satin weaved fabric that allows a person to make a small movement which is maximised when moving across the bed. The polycotton top and bottom part of the sheet will assist your feet in turning the body.
