What is the Elbow Brace by Push Sports?

The Elbow Brace by Push Sports is designed to apply pressure to the forearm muscles - via a pad on the inside - which relieves the pressure on the tendon attachments, alleviating pain and stimulating healing of tennis or golfer’s elbow. It helps prevent the conditions from worsening resulting in exercising with a feeling of assurance.

How does the Elbow Brace work?

If you repeat the same movements over and over again, f.i. during tennis or golf, you are likely to over-strain the tendons and make them swollen and inflamed. This can make even the most basic movements very painful such as bending your arm, griping a small object such as a pen, or twisting your forearm, for instance when opening a door.

That is when our elbow brace by Push Sports comes in handy. If you strap the brace around your arm, the pads exercise targeted compression on the affected area of the arm muscle, relieving pressure on the tendon attachments. If you suffer from a tennis elbow, the yellow pad on the inside of the brace should be placed on the outer muscle - 6 cm below the elbow - and in the case of a golfer’s elbow pain, it should be positioned on the inside muscle.

The buckle should always be placed away from the crease of the elbow. When tightening the clasp, ensure the strap is tightened enough to feel compression when the arm is bent, and the muscles flexed or tightened. There should be no pressure in the relaxed position.

How to fit the Elbow Brace?

To fit the brace, simply slip the end of the strap through the ring and move the elbow support into position.
