The TriFlo Inspiratory Exerciser from AbleAsthma is a respiratory device that is used to help exercise and strengthen the function of the respiratory muscles so you can develop and improve your lung fitness.

What is the TriFlo Inspiratory Exerciser?

Our TriFlo Inspiratory Exerciser is an incentive spirometer that assists you to practise taking deep breaths, helping opening up the airways, preventing fluid or mucus building up in the lungs and making it easier for you to breathe.

Whatever type of chronic obstructive lung disease you suffer, whether asthma, emphysema, COPD or other, the TriFlo Inspiratory Exerciser will monitor your lung capacity and assist in proper breathing technique.

The device has 3 air columns with 3 different colour balls. As you breathe in, the balls inside the chambers will move up. The height of the ball will show how much air you inhale.

How to use the TriFlo Inspiratory Exerciser?

  1. Hold the respiratory trainer in the upright position at mouth level
  2. Exhale normally and place your lips around the mouthpiece
  3. Inhale slowly and deeply until lifting the first ball
  4. If you need to increase the intensity of your inhalation, inhale at a rate to raise all 3 balls
  5. Hold your breath for as long as possible
  6. Remove the mouthpiece, relax and exhale
  7. Repeat the process

If the ball in the first column is kept afloat for 1 second, the inhalation volume is 600ml/cc. If the first AND second ball are kept afloat, the inhalation volume is 900 ml/cc. If all 3 balls are kept at the top of the columns, the inspired volume is approximately 1200 ml/cc.

By carefully following your doctor’s instructions and the directions provided by the TriFlo Inspiratory Exerciser from AbleAsthma, you will see and feel the benefits of the deep breathing exercises.

The TriFlo Inspiratory Exerciser by Able Asthma will help to see your progress to achieve optimum lung capacity and to breathe better, easier and deeper.

If breathing problems occur, Bettercaremarket recommends you to see your healthcare professional.
