What is the Skinny Single Size Wonder Sheet?
Our Skinny Single Size Wonder Sheet is a poly-cotton fitted sheet with satin panel at torso level. It is particularly helpful for turning in bed and to get in and out of bed.
The satin insert under the shoulders, back and hips allows you to slide your hips over more easily without having to lift them. The top and bottom sections gives you grip when turning.
Strength and durability are at the core of the Wonder Sheet design. The sheet is made of 50/50 cotton and polyester and extends under the satin insert, providing extra reinforcement and stability. The Wonder Sheet will stay securely in place, allowing for a restful and comfortable night’s sleep.
The sheet combines a smooth and low-friction satin section in the centre of the sheet - where your hips rest - with a 50% poly/cotton at each end. This fitted sheet helps the user slide and turn with ease on the smooth satin panel, while the bottom part will help the feet grip. This will help roll over and swing in and out of bed without effort.
This therapeutic sheet will make handling and moving a patient much easier with far less physical strain. As the person in bed can move more readily, it will also improve circulation and reduce bed sores.
Traditional cotton sheets can sometimes pull at your pyjama’s, making it very difficult to change position in bed. This sheet is made in the middle (off centre) from a smooth low-friction satin weaved fabric that allows a person to make a small movement which is maximised when moving across the bed.
