For people with diabetes, it is vital to keep blood sugar levels close to normal. This helps prevent symptoms and complications and improve quality of life.

What does this Blood Sugar Test Kit measure?

The device accurately measures your blood sugar, ketone and hematocrit levels. The Ketone tester is particularly useful for type 1 diabetes patients as it can prevent GP and emergency department visits or even hospital admission.  

The Smart Blood Glucose Monitor plus Ketone Meter is a no-coding meter that will log up to 1,000 readings, helping you spot trends in blood glucose levels and eventually correct them before they occur, rather than treating them yourself reactively.

High Blood glucose results will trigger a warning to test for ketone. Measurements for ketone use a different set of strips, individually packaged in foil. Sold separately.

Indication of use of this blood sugar meter

Thanks to the wide hematocrit range (0-70%), the blood glucose monitor enables infants as well as seniors to use the tool.

The smart software allows you to download your results to a PC or laptop so you can review your results at a later stage. The data cable is available from your electrical equipment store and will connect to your computer via USB connection. It will not connect to a smartphone.
